Free Money June 11, 2013

Smartsaver.org has launched two wonderful videos to support a great project — getting $2000 in free government money to low-income children for their post-secondary education.

Families can be cynical, and no wonder. Where’s the catch?

There isn’t one. Eligible families just need to do a little paperwork to set up RESPs for their children, to which the feds immediately contributes and the money goes into their bank accounts. Families don’t even need to contribute to the RESPs themselves if they don’t want to.

It’s all much clearer in the videos — and much more fun.

So please, watch them — and pass them on to as many people as you think might benefit.
